Custom on site trim work is one of the key factors in a successful construction project. Although many people have the ability to cut a 45 degree miter and shoot on a molding,  the skill require to hang a well functioning door, scribe to existing surfaces and join materials so they do not crack in the future require years of experience.  

Though our custom cabinet builds are sourced out to local suppliers for fabrication, many of our clients have opted for prefabricated units which come ready for install.  We also have many years of experience installing millwork packages for Commercial Retail Stores throughout the Lower Mainland BC and beyond.

Beyond a simple approach to doors and standard trim work, many projects demand a higher level of joinery.  Combining our vast array of woodworking tools with a unique knowledge of mathematics, we have been able to execute many unique designs with precision and care.

Every spring/summer we love to get outside in the sun and build custom decks. Navigating obstacles and deterring pests and animals are a significant part of deck design and build.  These factors must be incorporated into the plan. Exteriors of houses can become greatly neglected due to our climate and it becomes evident in spring that time is short to transform our exterior space into a place where we can relax and host company during the short summer season.

Plumb, level and square are terms you commonly hear but rarely see in our industry.  In 2019 we brought steel framing in-house to ensure our builds were done right and ready to receive our incoming finishes. Steel framing requires an understanding of engineering and building systems to integrate with drywall and T-Bar ceilings, creating a seamless collaboration which always shows up in the finished product.

Working with dimensional lumber is an art-form and a joy.  Cutting, ripping and building with wood is a privilege. Whether it is meeting engineered specs for internal components or fastening exposed timber with decorative hangers; wood framing demands precision and care which if done correctly will stand the test of time.

Though our larger drywall scopes are performed by subtrades we always keep the ability to perform smaller drywall scopes and repairs in house.  Whether it is adjustments made on site or service drywall repairs required, we have the capability to resolve unsightly holes and surfaces.  Beyond repair, we own and operate a Graco Mark V sprayer in which we can perform a True Level 5 drywall skim application to suitable surfaces.

A well performed paint job is key in the completion of a project.  Beyond our ability prep and paint surfaces we are big proponents of specifying paint products that last and perform to the highest industry standards.  We also contain medium, light and heavy duty industrial sprayers capable of applying heavy solids products to unique surfaces. 

A very common solution to upgrade deteriorating surfaces in aging facilities is Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Paneling.  Properly cutting, fitting and installing plastic materials requires a specialized skillset and equipment, and when done correctly can increase the durability and esthetics of a building for years to come.  Beyond working with FRP paneling we have experience with facility grade vinyl railing products to compliment the new walls.
